Location Context: LGA, SEIFA, and Census at an Address Level

Why we anchor each report in official area data

Every address sits inside a broader context. We surface the local government area so you can quickly find the right council pages, planning details, and service boundaries that matter in day-to-day life.

We also include SEIFA to give a consistent, official snapshot of relative advantage and disadvantage across small areas. It is a useful context marker, but it is not a personal story. Treat it as a signal about area-level patterns, not an assessment of an individual street.

Census data adds the human texture: household size, age profile, dwelling mix, and travel-to-work patterns. It is reliable and carefully protected, which means it also moves slowly. Use it to understand the shape of a place, not the exact conditions of today.
